In my quest to teach my daughter to cherish experiences not things I planned a big Christmas surprise. On Christmas eve I had my daughter open a box that had a cryptic message in it that stated she had 5 hours to pack a suitcase we had a plane to catch to a secret destination. When we arrived at the airport she learned we were heading to Belize for 3 days of fun! She was so excited!!! We took the morning flight out so we would spend Christmas day in Belize. Our first day we just relaxed because I had lots of stuff planned the next few days.
In my previous post I took Southwest to Belize this time we took United

While driving around in San Pedro i found the cutest shops. This one caught my eye because for one I'm a hair stylist and 2 it was super cute. I also did a bit of shopping while on the island. I tend to look for unique items so I was so happy to find a very unique boutique called RubiMoon Boutique. The owner Anke Doehm creates her own unique clothing for women and children. This artsy boutique boasts unique beach style wear and one of a kind jewelry peaces made from local artisans. It is a must stop place on San Pedro.
After a long day of sightseeing we found this beach side restaurant and bar Lily's Treasure Chest. Your able to sit by the sea and enjoy a great meal while people watching. The drinks are very good as you can see in my previous picture I was enjoying it a lot.

After our taxi ride back to Belize City we decided to have a sweet treat on our walk back to the hotel. Near the water taxi station there is a lovely gelato place called Igloo Gelato Italian Ice Cream. It is a cute place and the gelato is superb. I recommend going there on your next visit.

On Tuesday is was our adventure day! We had a full day of fun things to do starting with hiking to the river to float trough the caves, zip ling above the tree canapes and riding a four wheeler in the mud. It was a freaking awesome day of fun with my daughter.

I cannot end my post without giving praise to the best tourism based transportation owner Kareem Staine. I met Kareem my first stay in Belize and he made my inaugural stay with my friend one of the best experiences I had ever had with a tour company. When I decided to surprise my daughter with a trip to Belize I called him instantly. He planned every excursion and personally escorted my daughter and I to everyone of them. He made this trip worry free and I got to really enjoy my holiday with my daughter because he had everything planned to the very last detail. When going to Belize please contact Kareem Staine he will make your stay in his country simple amazing. I always try to end my posts with a quote so here is another favorite.....
